Parent and Guardian Notification for English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC)

Identifying students who need help learning English is important, so they can get the support they need to do well in English language arts/literacy, mathematics, science, and other subject areas in school. The Summative English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (Summative ELPAC) is the test used to measure how well students understand English when it is not their first language at home.

St. Helena Unified Schools' ELPAC testing begins in early February and lasts until early May 2021. English learners will take the ELPAC every year until they are reclassified as providient.

Please refer to the ELPAC Notification Letter for more details.
