Future Farmers of America

  • The FFA Motto

Learning to do. Doing to learn. Learning to live. Living to serve.

The Agriculture Program at SHHS was revived at SHHS in 2000 and has built a tremendous membership of approximately 225 students per year, over 50% of the high school student body. Students enrolled in Agriculture Education classes have the opportunity to get involved in the St. Helena Chapter of the FFA Organization, the largest youth leadership organization in the US with over 1 million members!

All students are welcome, no matter their background or skill - you do not have to know about agriculture to join. We provide the community environment and the educational opportunities that help students develop their skills and interests in agricultural fields. Our courses are organized through aligned and sequenced pathways: Ag Mechanics Pathway, Ornamental Horticulture Pathway, and Agriscience Pathway.
